PAYMENT POLICY To secure a spot on a specified retreat with the re-fit, a non-refundable booking fee of $400 is required upon booking. Upon receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation email from us or a representative to secure your reservation. Full payment (the balance) must be made within 60 days of the retreat start date. Prices are per person and based on private room with 1 king size bed or if you chose to attend the retreat with a friend/partner and share a room/bed there is a 15% discount applied to the price. Flights are not included. Clients must obtain adequate travel insurance to cover all listed activities.
TRAVEL INSURANCE Please note that private health insurance in the United States or your respective country of residence may not cover overseas trips such as the retreats offered by the re-fit. It is your responsibility to arrange suitable travel and health insurance. While we encourage you to do so, please be aware that the re-fit does not provide insurance products and cannot be held liable if you fail to arrange suitable insurance coverage and it leaves you exposed, medically, financially, or otherwise.
CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation refers to not attending your scheduled retreat, including postponing or rescheduling. Please read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule (“the Cancellation fee schedule”):
If you cancel 60 days or more before your retreat start date, you will receive a refund of the full retreat amount (minus your $400 booking fee and any bank or exchange fees).
If you cancel 30 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
No exceptions can be made to this policy, as we must commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early. You may change to another retreat 30 days or before your retreat start date for a fee of $250, provided the retreat has availability.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THE RE-FIT If the re-fit must cancel for any reason, you are entitled to transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat (either scheduled or at some future time). Alternatively, you may request a refund of your applicable payment, which will be accommodated for as much as possible, considering any non-retrievable costs committed in anticipation of your retreat.
The re-fit is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip. If an event is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered a place on the new event date or a 100% credit voucher to use on any of our escapes.
PASSPORTS, VISAS & DOCUMENTS Each participant is responsible for obtaining a valid passport, visa(s), and necessary certificates for any country to be visited in connection with a retreat organized by the re-fit.
THIRD PARTIES the re-fit bears no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties or independent contractors, including if they modify the nature of a service on a retreat compared to the advertised nature of the service.
GENERAL WAIVER By participating in a retreat with the re-fit, you acknowledge that you do so voluntarily and surrender your right to any cause of action against the re-fit arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during a retreat.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE FORM By booking a retreat with the re-fit, you grant us the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use photographic portraits/images/videos taken during the retreat for commercial use in association with the re-fit business. You release and discharge the re-fit from any and all claims and demands arising from the use of the photographs and video footage.
